Project Description
Muzejparku a 9.-10.gs. Latgallians fortified residence - Lake Castle its reconstruction; 14.-17.gs. medieval castle the so-called daughter island of stone, bronze age of housing reconstruction. Since 20. century. 90th early archaeologist, Dr.hc.hist. John Round led to the Baltics, first developed as an open-air archaeological museum. NHML archaeological muzejparks added in 2008, by then managed to Āraišu Lake Castle Foundation. Muzejparkā of subjects covered by the Latvian cultural and historical space unique complex. Since the establishment of the facility Āraišu Lake Castle development have been based on an innovative, Europe, 20th century. Part II, developed the conceptual framework based on open-air archaeological museum. The project will be renovated Lake Castle pamatklāsts, repaired the damaged building component relationships: roofs, walls, floors, gutters. Muzejparks as experimental archaeological object is a continuous development process to maintain the required constant maintenance improvements to lack of funds.
